Harry Jackson was my grandfather, he lived in DuBois and walked to the china factory eveyday. He was murdered while on that walk around 1924 when my mother was 7 years old - shot to death while walking to lunch.

The china factory actually started around 1917 and my great grandfather took over after his death on behalf of my grandmother. Sad end to what was starting to be a great business. It never really flourished after his death.

William Harry Eshelman - yep, named after him!
