Hello Susan, I have been looking for out of state garage sales, I own my own antique store and find it hard even in good weather to find good buys here in Michigan. A few of us are planning a road trip and would like to know when is the best time to plan on coming to your state and saling? here in Michigan our estate sales are dealer picked over and way over priced to shop at. on time a year a city in michigan has a big city wide garage sale day or weekend i have to check in to it for this year and was wondering if you all have that in your state in one place? any info would be helpful. THANKS!!! for writing!Here's what I knnow about in Ohio.

national Road (Route 40)Sale May 30th-June 4th. Mile after mile of sale, I think from Maryland to St. Louis. Here's a website: wwwoldstorefrontantiques.com. I went last year on wed or thurs and picked up a shawnee miniature in an experimental glaze & some 1950's xmas ornaments.

In July,(16th-21st) the Zanesville area goes all out with Pottery Lovers week. There are organized sales and lots and lots of local hosting yard sales. Google Pottery Lovers Zanesville for more info.

Labor day weekend is the Johnstown swap meet as well as my own personal garage sale with 10 of my best closest jucnk collecting friends. It's also a really good weekend throughout this (Granville, Newark, Heath, hebron) area.

October 6th is the Granville antiques show. the show isn't great, but more and more residents are holding sales the same day.

Ongoing buying opportunities are the Springfiels Ohio show (www.springfieldantiqueshow.com) and the caesar Creek Flea Market.
