Here's my entry for the contest ....
QUESTION: A real photo postcard of what Glen Ridge Street was mentioned in the story?
ANSWER: Hamilton Road
A resident of Montclair for 15 years, I started a postcard collection of the township and continue to look for views I don't have. Naturally, I also like to buy nostalgia cards from my hometown and other places visited. Arcadia Publishing offers great paperbacks of postcard history images. These books are good for reference and a nice way to supplement your collection.

- Entry for second prize for Montclair postcards
Thanks, Ginny! I don't collect postcards, but I DO have a framed New Jersey tea towel hanging in my kitchen. Grew up in Bergenfield. I took some heat for both my "research" and conclusions. I am shocked to discover that any Barista reader doesn't recognize irony. . . Clearly, you do. Anyway, thanks for entering!

Since competition is nonexistent, I feel compelled to share more of my knowledge of postcards, enjoyably acquired from your articles. I would feel like a fool not to enter again. You can count on me to check back on April 1 to see how I fared.
Here are my entries for 1st and 3rd places ...
QUESTION 1: What was the eBay price for a real photo postcard of a 76 Gas Station on Route 66 in California?
ANSWER: $113.61
QUESTION 3: This card has a divided back. To what year span can it be dated?
ANSWER: 1907 - 1915, also referred to as the Divided Back Era.
Thank you,
Ginny
